My half-assed iPhone plan failed
Walking over to my local ATT store at 8am seemed like a good idea at the time. I told myself if there were less than 20 people there I’d wait. The line stretched from the Astor place intersection at Broadway, down the block and around the 8th street corner. I went home.
I’ll walk by again on my way to work just in case they’re super efficient and managed to get through that line by 930. Then I’ll check the store near my office to see if that line died down there. Then I’ll try that store again at lunch to see if they’re somehow not sold out yet. I may be at work late, but if I can get out at a reasonable hour, and the Apple stores aren’t sold out yet (they will be) I’ll run up/down there and pick one up on the way home.
THEN, tomorrow, if this all doesn’t work out, I’ll fly to Cleveland and start over there.
