Yeah, I have to agree. While SS may be my favorite burger in the city, it’s not THAT much better than say, Good Burger 6 blocks south, which you can eat without any line. 

No. No, Jeff, no. Yes, the lines at that place are manageable, but mainly because they offer a vastly inferior product. I’ve only been to the Good Burger once, but I’m very confident saying that the cheeseburger I had there was one of the most dreadful cheeseburgers I’ve ever had in my life. It was overpriced, and the sandwich could best be described as flavorless overcooked protein matter on a roll, topped with hot garbage. I could only recommend Good Burger to a person who is trying to convince themself to never eat a hamburger again in their life. (Kinda like the “scared straight” of burger joints.)  If you desire a cheeseburger in the Flatiron/Union Square zone, you have probably a dozen decent non-Shack options. GOOD BURGER IS NOT ONE OF THEM.

So…Goodburger? Yay? Nay?
Regardless, my main point about Shake Shack not being worth my time still stands.
