Album of the Year So Far?
The folks over at Gorilla vs. Bear wanted me to contribute to their Best of ‘08 so far list and I’m having a tough time deciding. I’ll have to pick my choice later today, but here’s my longer list in no particular order:
Portishead - Third
Hercules and Love Affair
Deerhunter - Microcastles
Wolf Parade - At Mount Zoomer
Lil’ Wayne - Tha Carter III
Cut Copy - In Ghost Colours
Best albums so far are Crystal Castles and Cut Copy, I believe. Dodos is a distant third. Nothing else has really been able to get my attention this year so far.
