Duh Duh Dum. Duh Duh Dum.
As awful as ESPN has gotten over the years in many ways, they still know how to make a great ad. Their 24 hour live cut in ads are briliant. The idea is that they cut live to some regular shmo who works at the network, holding a board that is counting down the days, hours, minutes, etc till they will start airing a Live Sportscenter at 9AM. They write up a quick script about whatever is happening...

Kozmo was great, while it lasted.
I remember UrbanFetch just as fondly, wondering how a company that not only offered free, fast delivery, but gave away free t-shirts and cookies with every order could survive. It didn’t.
By the way, this is a great list.
I just bought Killers tickets for tomorrow night.

I have three other things I’m supposed to be doing, naturally, but getting to see the Killers at a 700-person venue (the Highline Ballroom) is an opportunity that just doesn’t pop up every day. I’m psyched.

Oh, and all songs from RB1 confirmed, if you choose to re-download them for free under $5. All DLC will still work, of course.
My half-assed iPhone plan failed
Walking over to my local ATT store at 8am seemed like a good idea at the time. I told myself if there were less than 20 people there I’d wait. The line stretched from the Astor place intersection at Broadway, down the block and around the 8th street corner. I went home.
I’ll walk by again on my way to work just in case they’re super efficient and managed to get through that line...

This makes sense for the storyline, but the fact that they admit to it being “budgetary concerns” is not good news.

Idiocracymay be “overlooked” and “underappreciated,” but know what? It’s also “NOT FUNNY.”
It’s not very good, but it has a handful of moments that, when quoted or referenced to out of context, are very funny looking back. Brawndo, for instance.
